SEA CHEF SERVICES was created by Cedric Seguela to provide a unique and dedicated service to Chefs looking for career opportunities on yachts, including training and assessment for the Ships Cook Certificate.
He set up UN CHEF à DOMICILE in 2006, creating what continues to be a highly successful business providing a network of chefs worldwide for villas and ski resorts, and organising catering and special events along the Cote d’Azur.
The next step was to use his knowledge and experience to offer cookery courses and team-building events for corporates and small groups, and found the ideal premises to establish what was to become another successful arm of the business in SECRETS DE CUISINE. At his fully-equipped kitchens and offices outside Antibes, Cedric hosts a choice of culinary and oenology/cocktail courses, and with consultant Laurent Marin supplies a full range of professional cookware, equipment and ancillary services for yachts and restaurants.
In 2014 he went into partnership with Duncan Biggs to become the first MCA approved centre for the Ships Cook Certificate Assessment. Since then Cedric and Duncan have created and developed a comprehensive training and assessment programme and overseen more than 400 successful candidates. They also provide regular Food Safety and Hygiene Courses which are held throughout the year.
Extending their inimitable people skills, knowledge and experience to recruitment, they’ve now teamed with Recruitment Consultant, Jacqui Leigh, to provide a unique and bespoke approach to Chef Services and Recruitment.
