Food Safety Level 2
This 1 day Level 2 Food Safety in Catering Course is aimed at chefs and all food handlers preparing to, or already working in, the yachting industry. Under UK and European law, employees who have a role in handling food must be trained in basic food safety and personal hygiene.
Food Safety Level 3
This is a useful qualification for any heads of department with the responsibility for preparing food and for those who need to develop or monitor HACCP based food safety management procedures and systems.
Cayman Island flag state also requires a chef to hold at least a Food Safety Level 3 or equivalent, or a Ship’s Cook Certificate of Competency.
